Donating your spare change is a simple, yet incredibly impactful way to support families right here in our community. Visit your local McDonald’s restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina to donate – a little can change a lot.
Round-Up for RMHC
In 2019, McDonald’s unveiled Round-Up for RMHC where patrons can support families with sick children by choosing to round up their total to the nearest dollar at the counter or drive-thru. Every cent adds up to create a ripple effect of generosity, enabling us to continue offering essential programs and services to families in need.
We rely on the support of many donors, partners, and individuals to help the families of sick children. Today, the need is so vast that one company or individual simply cannot provide all the support that is required. Our local McDonald’s owners/operators and their customers make up 10% of our annual operating budget, and the other 94% is raised in the Charleston, SC area and beyond.
In 2023, customers at our local McDonald’s restaurants contributed $120,000 in store fundraisers, Round-Up for RMHC, and RMHC Donation Box Programs.
