Providing love and comfort
Hi, friends! I’m Gardy, Director of Smiles for RMHC Charleston. I am a 10-year-old, miniature labradoodle and live at the House. I am on-call 24 hours a day, spreading love and comfort to our families when they need it most. I am hypoallergenic, which means I get to play with all of the children and parents at the House, even those who may have a suppressed immune system or be allergic to other dogs.
You may be wondering, “Where did he get his name from?” I am named after Brett Gardner, a player with the N.Y. Yankees, who graciously sponsored me with his wife Jessica. I have also been dubbed the ‘Guardian Angel’ at the House.
I just might be the luckiest dog in the world!
If I’m feeling a little ‘ruff’, my friends at the Animal Medical Center of Mt. Pleasant have graciously offered to cover all of my veterinary services. To help me always look my best, the crew at Susan’s VIP Grooming have also donated their services whenever I’m in need of some VIP (very important puppy) treatment; which includes a shampoo, haircut, and so much more!
Everyone is invited to stop by the House to meet me!
